Mystery Rosy Sludge on Remote Tasmanian Beach Prompts Fears of Potential Phytoplankton Proliferation
Agencies in Tasmania are attempting to pinpoint a rosy sludge that has surfaced on a secluded beach, with certain experts concerned it could be an algal bloom.
Extensive Presence Across Shore
The rosy-colored ooze materialized across a portion of a southern bay about 60 kilometers south of Hobart. A comparable ooze has also been recorded on areas of Little Roaring Beach and an additional coastal site.
